Visa fees: The eVisa costs $87 on the VFS portal and around $25 on the EPS portal. The sticker visa fee is 10,400 Naira.

For South Africa eVisa applicants, available categories include Conference, Business Investment, Non-Remunerative Business, Pilgrimage, Religious, Holiday, and Visiting Family and Friends. The sticker visa for South Africa also encompasses long-term options such as Medical, Study, Permanent Residence, and Exchange Programs.

Visa Requirements for South Africa eVisa

1. International passport: To apply for a South African eVisa, submit a clear digital copy of the data page of your international passport, which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the application date.
2. International Certificate of Vaccination: Submit a scanned copy of your international vaccination certificate, often known as the yellow card, including the front cover and stamped pages inside. Make sure your yellow card has a barcode to prevent rejection.
3. Flight reservation: Every applicant is required to submit a flight booking as part of the visa application process. The reservation must clearly display your name, the departure airport, and the South African arrival airport, such as Cape Town or Johannesburg. Note that a paid ticket is not necessary.
4. Accommodation: Every visa applicant must upload proof of accommodation or a hotel reservation when applying for a South Africa eVisa online. The hotel may not be a paid accommodation, but it must be a confirmed reservation. The applicant’s name must appear on the hotel or accommodation booking, and the check-in and check-out dates must match your flight booking.

1. Passport: When applying for a South African sticker visa, ensure you bring your physical passport to the embassy or visa application center. You may request to hold your passport until the final embassy approval if it’s needed for other purposes or urgent travel. Additionally, prepare two color copies of your international passport and include them with your application documents.
2. Passport photograph: All visa applicants are required to visit the embassy or visa application centre with two recent passport-sized photographs on a white background.
3. Bank statement: When applying for a South Africa sticker visa, ensure you include your recent 3-month bank statement. According to the eVisa guidelines, if your trip is sponsored by your company or employer, they must submit their corporate account details. Unlike the eVisa process, only the first and last pages of your bank statement need to be stamped and signed, not every page.
4. Introduction letters: You are required to submit two letters: one from your company or employer introducing you as the owner or employee, signed by your Personal Assistant, Human Resources, or a similar authority; and a second letter written and signed by you. If submitting in Abuja, the letter must bear your company’s official seal.

5. South Africa application form: Applicants must complete the South Africa visa application form in black ink using block letters. Each partner or child applying with you must have a separate form.
6. Proof of accommodation: Print out your accommodation or hotel booking and include it with your supporting documents. Make sure your name, the hotel name, address, and contact details are visible on the reservation. Avoid making reservations through booking.com if possible, as the visa application centre currently does not accept this. Make the booking directly with the appropriate provider.. 7. Flight booking: You must include your flight booking in your visa application. The booking should display the applicant’s name and their route. Make sure the landing airport corresponds to the city where your hotel is located. For example, if your arrival airport is Johannesburg, your hotel reservation must be in that same area, not Cape Town.
8. Yellow fever Card: Make a copy of your yellow fever vaccination card that includes a barcode. Without the barcode, the visa application centre, the South African consulate, or the relevant authority may reject it immediately.. Be sure to make photocopies of both the cover and all stamped pages inside the card.
9. Documents for Minor and Family: If you’re travelling to South Africa with children or minors, you’ll need a consent letter from your partner or guardians. Attach their notarised birth certificate, certified by the Rotary Club or the high court in your country. Married couples must include a notarised copy of their marriage certificate with the visa application.
10. Copies of visas: Make copies of your valid and expired visas, including any expired South African visa.

2. Register by providing your email and phone number. When using the VFS portal, an OTP will be sent to your registered email address. Enter the OTP to verify your registration.
